Namaste!
It is my great privilege to serve as the President of NRNA NCC of the USA for the year 2021-2023. Despite the COVID-19 pandemic and
many other hardships, we are moving forward in our ordinary lives. In Nepal and the rest of the world, the upsurge of new variants of
COVID-19 is still crippling lives and propelling more precautions and preventive measures.
I want to request you all to be safe during these unpredictable times.
NRNA is getting more institutional as we grow older and more disciplined. We need more engagement, collaboration, discussion,
and continuous work of perfecting this organization. My utmost priority will be to be accountable and adherent to this organization's
core motto and principle.
As a President, I can set up the right direction and ask the rest of my team and the members of this organization toward the same goal and vision.
Unless we strengthen our organization and garner the trust of our members, we can't influence and play an active advocacy role toward influencing the Nepal government's policies and programs impacting Non-Resident Nepalese in the USA. Nepalese diaspora residing in the USA is the most influential in terms of remittance inflow in Nepal. Besides remittance, Non-Residents Nepalese in the USA are the assets or the reservoir of academia, technology, and expertise in various fields, including economic and policy areas. Presidents come and go. How we handle this organization and leverage it toward fighting for the rights and interests of Non-Resident Nepalese around the world testifies our resolve and establishes our legitimacy and loyalty among our members for the future. It also puts confidence and pressure in Nepal's government toward its perspective and priority to address the issues and concerns of all of us in the core of the government of Nepal's program and policy implementation.
Together we will fight to ensure the rights and privileges of Non-Nepalese living in the USA. I profoundly pledge my commitment to the trust you have bestowed upon me as this organization's president.
Jay NRNA !
Warm Regards,
Buddi Sagar Subedi
