2nd National Women's Conference
Sept. 23, 2022NRNA NCC USA successfully organized the ‘Second Women’s National Conference USA’ on September 17, 2022, in windy Chicago, with the theme ‘Preparing for Future Challenges”. The program was chaired by NRNA NCC USA President Buddi Sagar Subedi.
NRNA NCC USA would like to thank the chief guest of the program, Dr. Sabitri Gurung, Special Guest Mrs. Trishna Sharma Kafle (WRC America Region ICC ), Mrs. Uma Karki (Immediate past WRC America Region ICC ), Mrs. Bindu Sapkota (ICC Member), Mr. Marvin Brustin (Honorary Consul General of Nepal & Member Of Chicago Consular Corps), Mrs.Shaile Basnet, Mrs. Sharu Guragain, Mr. Indra Gurung, Mrs. Rajeswori Gurung for their valuable time.

Some of the key sessions of the event were the ‘Mental Health’ session moderated by Mr. Gopendra Bhattarai and the presentation on the related topic by Dr. Sharad Koirala and Mrs. Sangita Bogati. Another key event of the program was the ‘Women Empowerment’ session led by Mrs. Shaili Basnet. Mrs. Shanti Poudel ( Board Of Director NRNA NCC USA) moderated the ‘Domestic Violence’ session and the presenter on the topic was Mrs. Urmila Nirdoshi and Mrs. Radhika Sharma. The ‘Raising Consciousness for Leadership and Wellbeing’ session was led by Mrs.Sundari Gurung( Women Coordinator NRNA NCC USA) and the key presenters were Mr. Indra Gurung and Mrs. Rajeshori Shrestha Gurung.
On behalf of the entire organizing team, we sincerely appreciate all the moderators and presenters for a healthy and fruitful discussion on these key issues.
We are also grateful to program (Co-Convener), Mrs. Sundari Gurung (Women Coordinator), Mrs. Shanti Poudel (Board of Director) Entire Executive committee of NRNA NCC USA, and All those who worked days and nights to make this conference successful.
